Epson XP-2205 Waste Ink Counter Reset
If your Epson XP-2205 suddenly refuses to print and shows a maintenance warning, it is often caused by the waste ink (ink pad) counter threshold.
During head cleaning and maintenance cycles, excess ink is routed to internal absorber pads. The Epson XP-2205 uses a software counter to estimate pad saturation and locks printing at a set threshold.

Three Steps to Restore Epson XP-2205 Printing
- Step 1: Prepare a Windows PC + USB cable and connect Epson XP-2205 directly. Keep Internet enabled for validation.
