Canon TS3520 Ink Absorber Full Reset
When Canon TS3520 triggers an ink absorber full condition, the printer may block printing as a protective measure. The solution is typically a waste ink counter reset.
During head cleaning, surplus ink is routed to internal absorber pads. Canon TS3520 monitors this via a counter and can lock printing at a threshold.
This page is prepared for Canon TS3520. Service mode instructions are shown only when a matching series procedure is known.
Common Symptoms
- ‘Ink Absorber Full’ / ‘Service Required’ message

- Reset required to continue printing
How to Enter Service Mode on Canon TS3520
To access maintenance functions, Canon TS3520 may need to be placed in service mode first.
- Turn the printer OFF.
- Press and hold Stop/Reset.
- While holding Stop/Reset, press and hold Power.
- Release Stop/Reset (keep holding Power).
- Press Stop/Reset 5 times.
- Release Power — the printer should enter service mode.
If it doesn’t work, repeat the sequence carefully. The press count depends on the series.
Perform the Waste Ink Counter Reset
Once the counter is cleared, Canon TS3520 should exit the locked state and printing should resume normally.
Important Notes
