Epson ET-M2120 Waste Ink Counter Reset

When the Epson ET-M2120 reaches its maintenance threshold, Epson firmware may block printing as a safeguard. In most cases, this is resolved with a counter reset.

During head cleaning and maintenance cycles, excess ink is routed to internal absorber pads. The Epson ET-M2120 uses a software counter to estimate pad saturation and locks printing at a set threshold.

Three Steps to Restore Epson ET-M2120 Printing

  1. Step 1: Use a Windows PC (7–11) with Internet access. Connect Epson ET-M2120 via USB (Wi-Fi reset is not supported).
