Epson XP-104 Waste Ink Counter Reset
The Epson XP-104 is a widely used Epson printer. Like many Epson devices, it can stop printing when the internal waste ink counter reaches its predefined limit.
During head cleaning and maintenance cycles, excess ink is routed to internal absorber pads. The Epson XP-104 uses a software counter to estimate pad saturation and locks printing at a set threshold.

Three Steps to Restore Epson XP-104 Printing
- Step 1: Prepare a Windows PC + USB cable and connect Epson XP-104 directly. Keep Internet enabled for validation.
- Step 2: Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and confirm Epson XP-104 is detected.
- Step 3: Enter your reset key and press Reset. Wait ~1–2 minutes, then restart Epson XP-104.
